Android lineup, we bring you the top 5
Karbonn offerings that make for a great
Karbonn S5: The quad core smartphone
comes with a 5-inch screen with qHD
resolution and is a direct rival of the
Canvas HD. It retails at Rs 11,990 and
runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 1.2
GHz quad core processor. There’s an 8-
megapixel camera at the rear for clicking
pictures and a 2-megapixel camera in the

the device here. Karbonn S1: The
country’s cheapest quad core smartphone
is a toned down version of the Karonn S5.
It has the same internals as the elder
sibling but comes with a smaller screen
and a lower camera resolution instead. It
has a 4.5-inch screen of qHD resolution
and the camera at the back is a 5-
megapixel unit. The remaining specs are
same as the Karbonn S5 and it sells for

device here. Karbonn A6: Karbonn has
also launched a cheap droid, the Karnonn
A6 for a price of Rs 5,390. It comes with
a 4-inch screen and looks like the HTC 8S
with its screen turned off. It runs on
Android 4.0 ICS and has a 1 GHz
processor which is complemented by a
512 MB RAM. It gets a 5-megapixel
camera at the rear as well and is indeed
the one you should be looking at in the
budget segment.
Karbonn A4: It has a 4-inch display and is
powered by a 1 GHz processor. It runs on
Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a 256
MB RAM. the device sports a 3.2
megapixel camera at the back and a VGA
camera up front. It retails for Rs 4,990
and does not have 3G support.
Karbonn A3: The cheapest smartphone
in Karbonn’s lineup. It has a 1 GHz single
core processor powering the 3.5-inch
smartphone. It also runs on Android
Gingerbread and comes with a 3-
megapixel rear camera coupled with a
VGA front camera. Its RAM capacity is 256
MB and is also 2G enabled. The device is
priced at Rs 3,590.
All the smartphones come with a dual sim
support and give a stiff competition to its
